Michael Owen told Soccer AM dirty little secrets about his teammates and reveals some very tasty tidbits for Darron G fans and the others’.
Find out who the Man United “hardman” is, plus who wears “odd underpants” & watch the video interview after the jump!
Probably Paul Scholes. You train with him and you just think ‘he’s playing a different ball game to a lot of people.’
The biggest moaner is Gary Neville. On and off the pitch he’s got high standards and that’s why he’s played at such a high level all his life really. He likes things doing properly and if someone’s not pulling their weight he’s first to have a moan.
It’s a good dressing room for that. I’d say Wayne (Rooney), Rio (Ferdinand), Fletch (Darren Fletcher), Wes Brown. There’s a few of them that like to play a prank.
Most skilful would be Nani. He likes to show us his tricks. Obviously (Cristiano) Ronaldo has left now, so I think he’s filled that void.
Again that would be Gary Neville I woud think. He seems to read all the right papers and has his fingers in all the stocks and shares and different businesses.
I’m going to upset someone here aren’t I! Gibbo… Darron Gibson, let’s go for him! How interesting! It’s apparent now that Jonny is only with him for his body.
WORST TAST IN MUSIC
The African boys, Eboue and Song. Sometimes it’s good but after about five minutes… it’s not for me!
WORST DRESS SENSE
I don’t think there’s anyone too bad. I think Patrice Evra’s dress sense is good but he wears some really odd underpants! Haha! Want to see these “odd underpants”! S’il-vous-plait, Patrice?
Well you’d have to say someone like Rio would be a good dancer when he’s in the mood.
Hardest shot is a tough one. Four players spring to mind; Nani, Wayne Rooney, Darron Gibson and Scholesy. I would probably say Scholesy.
AND WHO’S THE LONGEST IN THE SHOWER
Wayne Rooney’s the longest in the shower, yeah. He’s paid me a few quid to say that! Easily bribed! Ew. Do not want.
